John Thacker Jr., MBA, LSSBB | Principle and Lead Consultant

John Thacker has two decades of experience working in supply chain, including managing factories, regional distribution centers, and smaller startups in Tier 1 automotive, heavy equipment manufacturing, building trades, food, Pharma, and consumer goods. John has had the good fortune of guiding businesses through Lean implementation, Lean certification advancement, BOS implementation, and Black Belt projects worth up to $30 MUSD. John has an undergraduate from Pensacola Christian College, an MBA from the University of Louisville, and post-graduate studies in supply chain management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as a certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. John’s experience and education are only exceeded by his passion to see individuals and businesses “win right now.” John lives in Hanover, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children, and enjoys cars, powerlifting, reading, and a good cigar.

Jake Harrell, LSSBB | Director of Digital Content

Jake Harrell has devoted his life and career to getting business results and sharing it in the simplest way possible. Jake has had the good fortune of working with some of the largest third party logistics companies in North America, and finding the simplest, most creative way forward to achieving the desired outcome. Jake is the author of "Chasing Excellence", a simple guide to problem solving, and has created lifelong fans in the supply chain and manufacturing spaces. Jake is a prominent personality on LinkedIn, as well as a certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Jake lives for coming to terms with reality as it is right now, and finding the simplest way forward, RIGHT NOW. Jake lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and two chihuahuas. He enjoys mojitos, LinkedIn, and podcasting with John Thacker. Jake also loves any excuse to be a part of making businesses and people flourish.
